Disturbing video shows two young brothers, ages 12 and seven, stabbing a 59-year-old woman in her garage and then fleeing on their bicycles in Harris County, Texas.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the unidentified woman, who is mentally ill, got into an argument with the children around 2:00 p.m. Saturday outside her home on April Valley Court.
The children initially left on bicycles, then surveillance camera footage from a neighbor’s home captured them returning about 12 minutes later, he reported. Click2Houston.

Seconds later, the boys ran out of the garage, got on their bikes and rode away from the scene.
“We never thought it would be kids from the neighborhood who would come in and attack her,” said a neighbor who asked not to be identified. KTRK.
‘If they have the ability to go and do that to an older woman who clearly has mental problems after our neighbor tells them, ‘Hey, leave her alone.’ “It’s a concern.”
The woman’s brother arrived home shortly after the stabbing and was able to call for help.
‘His brother came and stopped by just to see how he was; He checks on her daily. At that point, he arrived at the right time, opened the door and saw that she had been stabbed,” said Sergio Torres, an investigator with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
She was transported to the hospital via Life Flight and underwent surgery. Deputy Thomas M. Gilliland told DailyMail.com on Monday that the victim is recovering at a local hospital.
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said Sunday that the 12-year-old boy was charged with aggravated assault and is being held by the Harris County Juvenile Department.
The 7-year-old boy was not charged because he does not meet the age of guilt in Texas.
The boy’s mother told Click2Houston that she apologizes to the victim and said her son is mentally ill.
‘I feel sorry for the family. I am very sorry that my son committed the incident. And I am praying for his health, for his well-being,” he said.
‘My son is fighting his mental problems. I’m very sorry because I wouldn’t want that to happen to anyone.’
“We just have to keep our prayers up for my family and his family,” the mother said.
Seconds later, the boys ran out of the garage, got on their bikes and rode away from the scene.
