The NFL was once again marred by sickening scenes of violence on Sunday as another brawl spilled into the stands.
During the heated NFC South showdown between the New Orleans Saints and the Atlanta Falcons this week, things also got disturbingly heated in the stands.
In viral images on social media, a man in a Falcons jersey could be seen lunging across a row of seats to pounce on another spectator who had been knocked to the ground at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
The Falcons fan proceeded to violently stomp on the fallen fan’s head three times before being removed.
Meanwhile, further down the row, one man could be seen grabbing another by the neck in a headlock before sending him tumbling across two rows of seats.

Several women were also said to have been injured in the fierce fight, according to an account shared in the clip.
The sickening and violent scenes mark a continuation of the epidemic that has plagued the NFL for the past two seasons.
Earlier this season, a violent fight broke out at SoFi Stadium when the Raiders played the Chargers, leaving a man bloodied and unconscious, while a woman was slammed to the ground.

In one clip, a man wearing a Falcons jersey can be seen repeatedly stomping on another man’s head.
Another bystander grabbed a man by the neck in a headlock before making him fall.
Patriots fan Dale Mooney, 53, collapsed and died after being hit by a Dolphins fan at Gillette Stadium.
Disturbing footage obtained by NBC10 showed the father of two and longtime Patriots ticket holder, wearing Jones’ No. 10 jersey, being punched by a Dolphins fan.
The blow connected, and witnesses said Mooney fell to the ground moments later during the huge fight. He was then rushed to a nearby hospital before being pronounced dead.
However, an autopsy concluded that Mooney was not directly killed by Dolphins fans and may have succumbed to an undisclosed “medical issue.”
The Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office said the autopsy identified a medical problem that may have contributed to his death.
District Attorney Michael Morrissey confirmed that the problem potentially contributed to his death, but that the case would require more evidence.

The Giants, 49ers, Bengals, Commanders, Rams, Broncos, Ravens and Seahawks also saw ugly scenes, in the stands or around the stadium, go viral last year.

Nowhere have fans seen as much disorder (63 percent) as at Lincoln Financial Field, home of the Philadelphia Eagles. The most common crime witnessed? Physical violence.
Meanwhile, less than two percent of Colts fans said they feel comfortable letting their children go to Lucas Oil Stadium alone. Across the 32 teams, that number was 77 percent.
Nearly three-quarters of female Lions fans (74 percent) admitted they would not feel comfortable alone at Ford Field; across the league, it was 45 percent. And yet, perhaps the most striking characteristic of this wave of violence is the number of women who perpetrate it.
