Finney, after being set on fire, was able to walk down a street when the emergency services arrived and was taken to a local hospital where he died of his injuries two days later, WTTG reports.

Suitcases of Finney’s items kept in a supermarket shopping cart were also burned nearby.

The same suspect is believed to have attempted to set fire to another man about 45 minutes earlier, including H Street, but about five blocks away, as well as setting fire to a car on Florida Avenue.

DC Police Chief Peter Newsham warned the suspect, “was planning to hurt people in a very demonic way,” releasing the suspect’s images and pictures.

“I hope if someone is watching, I hope you can view this photo and let us know who they are so we can make sure it doesn’t happen again,” he said.

Police offer a $ 25,000 reward to anyone with more information about the suspect that could lead to the suspect’s arrest.
