Police in Arizona have warned that “timing is crucial” as they try to find a young woman brutally stuffed into a car she was trying to escape from.

A horrified bystander called the police after seeing the woman trying to flee the Nissan SUV as it stopped at a service station before being chased and caught by her burly male driver who dragged her back to the car.

Other customers seemed unaware when the man pushed her inside and closed the door before speeding away from the Circle K in Buckeye.

Unfortunately we don’t know anything about these two issues,” admitted Sergeant Tamela Skaggs of the Buckeye Police Department.

“That video is extremely concerning to us and that video is what we have.”

It was shortly after 10 p.m. Friday that the gray Nissan Rogue stopped at a pump at the gas station near Interstate 10 and Watson Road.

Both doors opened at the same time and the woman in the passenger seat began walking briskly toward the store, clasping her hands.

The man immediately chases after her, and she has only taken a few steps before he grabs her by the neck, bends her back, and drags her back to the car with her feet dragging on the ground.

It takes him ten seconds to force her into the vehicle before he slams the door shut and marches around to the driver’s side, gets in, and immediately accelerates back out onto the street.

Hundreds of people have commented since police posted the grainy images on their Facebook page, with many demanding to know why other customers didn’t intervene.

“I understand that nowadays it’s scary to get involved, but something like this, how can you not do it?” wrote Valerie Evora.

“How is it possible that no one around didn’t see this or try to go out and try to stop it?” Laura LM added. “I’m sure that’s what I was thinking.”

Others were frustrated by the poor quality of the images.

“I wonder if they stopped at another gas station since they couldn’t refuel at that one and I hope to get better camera footage at a nearby gas station,” wrote Katelyn Yohe.

“The bombs also have cameras,” said Évora.

‘Did you see that she didn’t run out of the truck, walk about 2 or 3 steps and then try to run?’ “Maybe a victim of domestic violence,” observed Adilene Díaz.

“I was thinking she was trying to sneak away and he realized and she started running,” Lisa Chapman added.

“Either way, someone knows who it is.”
