Reportedly, a homeless man was killed in a cowardly attack while he slept outside a community center.
The body of David Collin, 53, was found Monday after 8.30 am just after 8.30 am in a sleeping bag in the Millwell Road Community Center on the Sunshine Coast with serious head injuries.
Detective Senior Sergeant Daren Edwards of the Sunshine Coast Criminal Investigation Branch made a call to anyone who was in the area at the time to come forward.
He said the victim was seen using a carrying case with wheels to transport his belongings, so he can stand out against passers-by.
& # 39; Between 6 p.m. on Sunday evening and daylight on Monday morning, six people walk close to where Mr. Collin slept that night, & # 39; said Senior Sergeant Edwards Detective.

"There are a few people on push bikes and a few walking that we want to identify and have come forward," he said.
& # 39; In addition, we would contact anyone who might have seen something suspicious around the Millwell Road Community Center on Sunday evening or early Monday morning.
& # 39; This appears to have been a very cowardly attack on a vulnerable person and we will continue with all possible investigations to find out who is responsible. & # 39;
