Home Depot brought back its popular artificial trees for the 2024 holiday season

Home Depot has brought back one of its most popular products from last Christmas, as the holiday season approaches.

Once again, the Grand Duchess’s twinkling balsam fir, which went megaviral last year on social media, hits shelves.

In videos that garnered millions of views, influencers gushed about how beautiful the pre-lit artificial Christmas trees looked in their homes.

The trees come in three different sizes: 7.5 feet, 9 feet, and 12 feet, although all of the 12 feet appear to be sold out. Buyers also have the option of purchasing a full tree, which has more branches, or a thin tree that might fit better in a small area.

A full 7.5-foot tree costs $349, while a full 9-foot tree costs $499.

To make the trees look more realistic, they have 4,539 branch tips. In addition, there are 3,400 lights already installed.

Last year, Karen Pacelli had the most attention-grabbing video about the popular Christmas decoration, garnering more than 6.1 million views.

The video panned around the tree as its lights shined. He also made sure to have the fireplace channel on his TV to complete the aesthetic.

This year, Bre Powell was one TikTok user among many who recorded herself assembling the tree step by step.

‘Truly the most beautiful tree I have ever seen! It also has colored lights if that’s your vibe,” she wrote in the caption.

There were hundreds of comments on her video, most of them telling her how wonderful her tree looked.

‘I have the same one, it’s beautiful! “I have nightmares when I set it back up on Halloween night and see that not all the lights work,” one person wrote.

‘I have the same one and I’m obsessed with it too!’ another wrote.

‘I need to save money, I need to save money!!!’ wrote a third tempted commenter.

These trees have become so popular that several content creators felt the need to compare the 2023 and 2024 versions.

Sara Beth Clark posted one of these videos, placing the 2024 model on the right next to the 2023 model.

He noted that this year’s tree is adjustable, while last year’s is not.

“It sure is a beautiful tree, if you have light-sensitive eyes like mine,” one person commented.

Many people commented on these fake tree videos and asked people to try Costco’s version.

The big box store also sells pre-lit artificial trees, although theirs are more expensive.

The 7.5-foot one from Costco costs $499.99, making it $150 more than the one from Home Depot.

Their 9-foot model costs $200 more than Home Depot’s.

The real bargains can be found on Amazon, where a 7.5-foot model sells for just $134.
