A home cook and foodie shared her simple trick for elevating even the simplest salad, and it has nothing to do with the ingredients.
Ayeh Manfar, who goes by online Cooking With Ayeh, posted a video at Tik Tokwhere she said the best way to improve your salads is to chop up everything you put in them in very small amounts.
This means you can use a spoon to eat them and you’ll enjoy a little bit of each flavor with every bite.

A home chef and food guru shared her simple trick for elevating even the simplest salad, and it has nothing to do with the ingredients—just chop the ingredients very finely.
“This is a tip to make any salad taste better,” Aya posted with the video.
“The key is that you need a spoon, because spooned salad always hits the spot a little differently.”
She added, “That’s because you get to taste a little bit of everything in every bite.”
For this particular occasion, Aya made a Greek salad with tomatoes, cucumbers, red peppers, and red onions “cut into small cubes.”
Another one of her top tips is to soak onions in water, which helps get rid of that “harsh onion flavor.”
In her Greek salad, Aya said, it also included “juicy Kalamata olives,” which she chopped, plus crumbled feta cheese on top and homemade dressing.
To prepare the sauce, Aya combined olive oil, vinegar, and oregano.
Then, simply serve it with a piece of crunchy sourdough.
