Ada Nicodemou has finally broken her silence on her romance with her Home and Away co-star James Stewart.
The on-screen lovebirds confirmed their romance off-screen when they were pictured sharing a kiss on Anzac Day this year.
Until now, both have remained silent about their relationship.
During an appearance on Sunrise on Monday, Ada, 47, confirmed that she is dating her longtime co-star James, 48.
The actress couldn’t hide her happiness as she gushed about her relationship.
“Look, whether (our romance) comes to light or not, it doesn’t really change our relationship. Um, you know, we’re happy. We’re together,” Ada said as her face lit up with a smile.
“James is an amazing actor. I love working with him. That hasn’t changed either. Yeah, so whether it comes out or not, it doesn’t change anything for us.”
Ada also explained how they manage to keep their work and personal lives separate, insisting that they maintain a high level of professionalism on set despite their romantic relationship.

“No, we’re professionals, you know, we respect each other. We go to work. We do it because obviously we have a lot of scenes together,” he said.
‘We’ve always had a lot of scenes together, but no, no, they are very separate things.’
Ada and James have known each other since 1998, when they filmed the Australian drama Breakers and have been co-stars on Home and Away for seven years.
Ada also explained how they manage to keep their work and personal lives separate, insisting that they maintain a high level of professionalism on set despite their romantic relationship.
The couple began dating after Ada split from ex-partner Adam Rigby just before Christmas last year and James finalised his divorce from Sarah Roberts in March.
Sources have claimed the couple are planning their highly-anticipated ‘hard launch’ of their relationship on the red carpet at the 2024 Logie Awards on August 18.
The pair were hit by rumours of a ‘rift’ on the cast of Home and Away when their romance first emerged, but the couple have since dismissed the claims.
Last month, a source close to the actress told Woman’s Day that stars including Ray Meagher, Lynne McGranger and Emily Symone are “keeping an eye” on Ada.
“Most people are worried about Ada. Ray and Lynne are not the type to get involved in other people’s business and will keep a low profile, but they will have raised their concerns with her,” the source said.
But Ada dismissed the rumours when she attended show legend Ray Meagher’s 80th birthday party last week with a host of her co-stars.
She joined the likes of Kate Ritchie and Emily Symons at the party, where she was said to have had a “lovely time” with her co-stars.
Ada and James then took to Instagram to share gushing birthday tributes for Ray as they proved all was well on the set of Summer Bay.
James shared group photos of himself and Ada alongside Ray with the simple message: “Happy birthday, buddy!”

She gushed: ‘I know everyone calls him an “Australian icon” but to me, Ray, you are that and more… you are a father figure, a friend, a financial planner and an all-round life coach.
‘You’re the first person I think of when I need advice or have news to tell you. I look up to you in every way, you really are my role model and the best person to have a laugh and a drink with.
“Happy 80th birthday, Ray! And thank you for your love and support, and for always being so kind to my family and caring so much. We all truly adore you!”
