Local and visiting fans have been thrown into a frenzy amid speculation that a couple is set to tie the knot.
Leaked filming stills have raised suspicions among fans that Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) and Eden (Stephanie Panozzo) are preparing to tie the knot later this year.
Viewers were left heartbroken after Cash called off his engagement to Eden, but fans have now noticed some telltale signs that they might be tying the knot after all.
A leaked photo shows actor Peter Phelps, who plays Cash’s adoptive father Gary, filming on set, with fans convinced his return must be for a historical storyline.
Gary was last seen in Summer Bay for the funeral of his adopted daughter Felicity, played by Jackie Purvis, and could return for Cash’s big day in a surprise twist.
“I guess it’s Gary coming back for the wedding,” one Home and Away cast member speculated on a Facebook fan site.
“I immediately had the same thought,” said another, with a third fan agreeing: “Hopefully this means Cash’s wedding will go ahead.”
Her theories gained momentum when a member of the Home and Away team also shared a photograph of a luxury hotel in the Southern Highlands.

The photo showed a blurry script and a picture-perfect courtyard in the background, with a source claiming they could be at the location to film a wedding.
“I hear the filming in the Southern Highlands, which is likely to air later this year, may be a low-key wedding,” a source said. Yahoo!Lifestyle.
“While it was filmed in a specific location, its purpose is unknown. If it was a low-key wedding, it could be one of several couples (such as) Tane wanting to legitimize his child (with Harper).”
The venue in question appeared to be the luxurious Milton Park hotel and country estate in Bowral, which does host weddings in real life.
The last big wedding in Summer Bay took place in April, when Leah Patterson-Baker and Justin Morgan, played by real-life couple Ada Nicodemou and James Stewart, said “I do” in a glitzy ceremony.
In what looks set to be a dramatic year, Home and Away fans recently shared another wild theory about a twist involving two other popular characters from the show.
The possible plot involves Jessica Redmayne’s character, Harper, who is pregnant with Tane, played by actor Ethan Browne.
Photos recently taken on set showed Jessica flaunting a ‘baby bump’ while filming scenes in Palm Beach, New South Wales.

However, in a major twist, fans are claiming that a pregnancy is “usually” a sign that a character will soon be written out.
“Tane, Dana and Harper… yes she is still filming (although visibly) pregnant. We’ll see in 5-6 months,” posted one fan on the Home and Away Spoilers and Gossip Facebook page.
“It’s crazy because they’re dragging out Harper’s pregnancy longer than the other characters.”
“We know that once characters have a baby, they usually leave the show. I think Harper still has two years left on her contract and Tane, who signs new contracts often because she’s already fulfilled her three-year contract, so I’m not sure when she’ll be leaving!”
The fan then went on to explain that “baby characters” are expensive for producers, as it takes up to four “baby actors” to “play” a single character.
This is due to strict regulations regarding the use of babies for filming.
Further evidence was also shared on fan page Home and Away Spoilers and Gossip showing Harper on set.

The clip shows Tane’s characters, Dana, Mackenzie (Emily Weir) and Mali (Kyle Shilling) sharing drinks and “celebrating.”
“Looks like the baby has been born,” they posted.
‘Video from last week’s shoot shows Tane, Mac, Dana and Mali having celebratory drinks on the Salt balcony.
‘The sound is bad, but I heard something like, “Dana was there.” Tane, as he left, said he was going to see Harper. The timing of the filming would be right for a February birth.’
