Georgie previously opened up about her scoliosis diagnosis after undergoing her first hip replacement in 2018.

His hip problems are due to being diagnosed with scoliosis (when the vertebrae form a curved line instead of being straight) at the age of 13.

“Every scoliosis is different, it’s like a fingerprint, but mine is all on my torso, I’ve lost about three inches in height,” she told Body+Soul in 2020.

Georgie is arguably best known for having played Roo Stewart on the Australian soap opera since 2010.

“It’s a never-ending job, but I’m up for a challenge,” she told Now To Love in 2017 about dealing with the pain and stiffness associated with the condition.

‘It affects me daily and I just have to keep fit to keep my back as functional as possible.

“It’s never bothered me (having scoliosis) and it’s made me realize how lucky I am that even though I have this major challenge, I can still live my life pretty much the way I want.”

His most recent surgery came shortly after appearing on stage at Sydney’s Ensemble Theater to perform in The Great Divide alongside Kate Raison.

He also recently returned to the children’s television series Play School, driving fans crazy.
