Home and Away star Felix Dean “tried to hit Audi A5 owner with a bottle of wine during a botched carjacking”
A Home and Away child star is in jail on remand after she tried to use a bottle of wine to assault a man during a botched carjacking.
Felix Dean appeared in Sydney Downing Center District Court on Monday after pleading guilty to assaulting a man with the intent to rob him earlier this year.
According to court documents, the 26-year-old attempted to steal the keys to an Audi A5 from an unknown man on May 28.
The victim was getting into his car in Botany, South Sydney, at 8:30pm when he felt something block the driver’s door from closing.

When he looked up, he saw Dean holding the car door open and standing over him.
“Get the fuck out of the car and give me your fucking keys,” the former child star demanded.
When the victim told him to fuck off, the agreed facts indicate that Dean took a full bottle of wine out of his purse and brandished it as a weapon.
The actor took the bottle by the neck and turned it towards the other man, who stepped back to avoid being hit.
He continued to demand that the victim get out of the car and hand him the keys while threateningly swinging the bottle, according to the agreed facts.
The victim told police that she could not defend herself and agreed to hand over the keys if Dean would allow her to stand up.
As the child actor took a step back, the victim kicked him in the face and then in the chest.
He yelled for help as Dean staggered back and slowly walked down the street.
The court heard that he admitted to assaulting the man in Botany with the intent to rob him, but pleaded not guilty to three counts of common battery related to a separate incident.
The former TV star was sent into the courtroom via audiovisual link while wearing his green prison tracksuit on Monday.
He seemed anxious throughout the proceedings and drummed his hands on the desk in front of him inside the custody cell.
Mr Dean rose to fame when he was only 10 years old.
His lawyer, Lauren MacDougall, said she would seek to have the charges dismissed under the mental health law.
