Hollywood stars Jack Black and Paul Rudd are currently in Queensland filming a remake of the 1997 horror film Anaconda.
And the two co-stars have already shared that the new production will be a departure from the shocking original starring Jennifer Lopez, Owen Wilson, Ice Cube and Jon Voight.
Set in the Amazon, the first film focused on a group of filmmakers who encounter a giant anaconda.
Taking to social media with their own cheeky trailer, the pair of comedians gave fans a taste of what to expect.
Black and Rudd, both 55, appear to be holding back laughter during the brief clip, which School of Rock says was “taken on his phone.”
After announcing his starring roles in the new blockbuster, Black joked about the film’s title, saying, “It could be ‘The Anaconda’… Anyway, there’s going to be a big damn snake and it’s going to tear itself apart.”

Rudd then added: ‘Do you want to be scared? Do you want to laugh? Do you want to celebrate with your friends? Or maybe you are sad and have no one, but you just want to forget about it? It will be released on Christmas 2025.
During the trailer, the pair confirmed that the Anaconda reboot will hit theaters Christmas 2025.
Black ends the trailer, which appears to have been filmed in a studio, by turning to his co-star and asking, ‘Dude, have you seen the snake?’ It’s in that room over there. They are about to feed a donkey. Come on.’
The new film will inject $40 million into the local economy and create more than 300 jobs, the industry magazine reported. inner film on Mondays.
Directed by American filmmaker Tom Gormican, the Anaconda reboot is produced by Sony and received state government funding through Screen Queensland’s production attraction strategy.
The publication also reported that the production also received a 30 per cent tax rebate through the federal government’s location compensation subsidy, which aims to attract major productions to Australia.
The rainforests of Queensland will replace the film’s setting, which is the Amazon rainforest.
Queensland has managed to attract high-profile productions to the state, including the Disney-produced Bluey.
According to Variety, the plot centers on “a group of friends facing a midlife crisis and setting out to remake their favorite movie from their youth.”
Meanwhile, a big-screen adaptation of the 1980s cartoon Voltron is already underway on the Gold Coast.
The original horror thriller was a box office hit, although it failed to impress critics, and co-starred Owen Wilson, Eric Stoltz, Ice Cube and Jon Voight.
It even led to a franchise that spawned several sequels, including a 2004 theatrical installment with Morris Chestnut, and several direct-to-video releases starring the likes of David Hasselhoff and Robert Englund.
Early reports describe the reboot as a “reimagining” of the original concept rather than a sequel or remake, with the remake being more similar to the 2018 shark movie The Meg.
