Australian actress Sarah Snook surprised her fans by making an unexpected appearance on her former high school podcast.
The Succession star, 36, graduated from Adelaide’s Scotch College in 2005 and returned to school to chat about her successful Hollywood career this week.
In a coming-of-circle moment, she chatted with her former drama teacher and current theater arts director Nicola Triglau and her daughter Charlotte for the podcast.
Sarah won a drama scholarship to Scotch College in Torrens Park after attending St John’s Grammar School and recalled how the school fostered her love of acting.
Despite now being a Golden Globe winner, she revealed that she missed out on the role she really wanted in the school production of Peter Pan and was cast as Wendy.
‘I had a great time (playing Wendy). “I think I wanted to play Peter Pan, that’s the honest answer,” he said.
‘Peter Pan seemed to be having more fun and Wendy was just looking after the kids. But I had a great time doing that.”

Sarah went on to reveal again that her budding acting career certainly wasn’t easy, as she remembers taking over her drama class before being humiliated by her teacher.
“I was frustrated or bored and I remember just taking charge a little bit,” she said.
“I remember your mother coming to me and saying, ‘If you’re just going to do it for other people, no one will learn.’
“I felt very embarrassed and embarrassed because I was just trying to do it and it was a very good lesson,” she added.
After attending Scotch College, Sarah studied at the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA) in Sydney, graduating in 2008.
He went on to star in television series such as Black Mirror, Soulmates and The Beautiful Lie before rising to global fame in the hit HBO drama Succession.

She earned critical acclaim for her role as Shiv Roy, the daughter of media mogul Logan Roy (Brian Cox), who feuds with her brothers to gain control of the company.
Amid her success in Hollywood, she recently returned to her roots in Australia to film the TV thriller All Her Fault in Melbourne.
Sarah will play the role of Marissa Irvine, who arrives at a house to pick up her young son from a playdate before a “nightmare” occurs, according to the show’s synopsis.
But the woman who answers the door is not a mother she recognizes. She’s not the babysitter. She doesn’t have Milo. And so begins every parent’s worst nightmare,” it reads.
The series is based on the 2021 book of the same name by author Andrea Mara.
The show, commissioned by entertainment giant NBC Universal, will be filmed in Melbourne and award-winning director Minkie Siro will direct the first episode.
“I’m very excited to be back working in Melbourne,” Snook said.
