The 46-year-old soap star, who played Cindy Cunningham for 28 years, revealed their impromptu nuptials “just felt right” and the couple “jumped at” the chance to tie the knot abroad.

She told the publication: “When we booked this holiday to the Maldives, Tom said, ‘Do you want to get married? ’ and I just said, ‘Yes. ’”
Tom explained: “I was looking online for where we were going to stay and saw that they catered for weddings. I’m quite an improviser in some ways so it just seemed like the right fit. We jumped at the chance.”
Stephanie continued: “I FaceTimed Lexi before we went and when she saw my wedding dress she started crying. She is so funny and sweet and so happy for us. She loves Tom so much.”
