Hoda Kotb has announced her next step in her career a few days before saying goodbye to the Today show.
The 60-year-old host, who announced in September 2024 that she had decided to leave her job at NBC, appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show on Monday and talked about the next stage of her career.
Kelly, 42, started the conversation, telling him: ‘I’m so excited for you, but we’re going to miss you, it’s going to be weird!’

“And when you’re done, it’s not like going to Mexico with your girls, which is fun, but it’s something that when you leave, you’re like, ‘Oh my God. “I feel transformed, I feel different.”
“I’m in the process of building it,” Hoda added, confirming that she believes it will launch in the spring.
In October, Hoda admitted she found it “scary” and “scary” to leave the Today show, but also said she felt “exactly right.”
After dedicating 26 years of her career to NBC, Hoda said she wanted to “fall in love” with the next chapter of her life, romanticizing the positive changes it could bring.
