The family of motorcyclist Harry Dunn was hit after claims that the woman who allegedly killed him was promoted by the CIA.

Dunn was killed on August 27 last year in a head-on collision with a car near RAF Croughton, in Northamptonshire.

Anne Sacoolas, 42, is believed to be driving on the wrong side of the road and has been accused of causing death by dangerous driving.

After the incident, she received diplomatic immunity and was able to return to her home country, which led to an international controversy.

It is now claimed that the 42-year-old, who is a fluent Russian speaker, is now in charge of a 100-person overseas team at CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia, as reported by the Sunday Express.

Mrs. Charles said, “It’s clear that as parents we’re just pawns in a diplomatic and espionage game, and no one in authority in Washington or London really cares about how we feel.”

Earlier it was reported that Mrs. Sacoolas was the wife of an intelligence officer, but in fact she is seen as a senior CIA officer who outwit her husband, Jonathan.

It is only a few days after Mr Dunn’s mother, Charlotte Charles, wrote to the Prime Minister requesting a meeting after the US refused to extradite Mrs. Sacoolas.

In a letter to Mr. Johnson, Mrs. Charles, 45, from Charlton, Northamptonshire, said: “We think what happened to Harry has highlighted some very serious problems that need to be resolved urgently.

“This is not just a matter of diplomatic immunity for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, no matter how important that is.

“I don’t know why you didn’t want to see us. Please don’t be afraid.

“Please meet us so we can talk about the problems. We mean no harm and just want to make sure Harry didn’t die for nothing. ”

Downing Street has said that Johnson is “committed to justice for Harry’s family.”
