It was the night of nights for Australia’s biggest AFL stars on Monday.
But football players were once again sidelined from the spotlight at the 2023 Brownlow Medal as their wives and girlfriends stole the show in their dazzling designer dresses.
Many players have succumbed to their partners’ supporting roles by helping women on the red carpet, repairing and adjusting their dresses before posing for photos.
Richmond star Daniel Rioli was one of the first Nobles to help his partner Paris Lawrence.
He was seen carefully adjusting her satin skirt and the sheer fabric that flowed over her shoulder.

Daniel opted for a sharp suit while Paris made sure all eyes were on her in a pale blue satin corseted number.
It included sparkly embellishments and sheer panels as well as ruched skirts with a daring slit.

It seemed like it took Patrick a few tries to make sure Mardi’s train was in the right position, but everything had to be perfect for this special evening.
Patrick opted for a velvet tuxedo, while Mardi marched to the beat of her own drum in a metallic blue dress that fell off her shoulders and featured a high slit, as well as sparkling diamond accessories.
It looked like it took Patrick a few tries to make sure Mardi’s train was in the right position, but it had to be perfectly placed for this special evening.
Richmond’s Nick Vlastuin was joined by a luminous Georgia Kelly who made a statement in a dark red corset dress with a metallic skirt paired with fairy tale inspired rhinestone heels.

She smiled as she waited patiently for her date to drape her long black train on the red carpet.
