An investigation is underway after a body was discovered in a lake.
The unidentified body was found in a lake at Mawson Park in Hillarys, in Perth’s northern suburbs, about 4.30pm on Wednesday.
Police were still working to remove the body from the water at 9 p.m.
Several unmarked cars were seen parked by the lake as coroners with torches took photographs of the lake in the popular park.

A WA Police spokeswoman told Daily Mail Australia: “Multiple resources are on scene and the body is being recovered.”
‘At this time the circumstances surrounding the death are unknown.
“The deceased has not been positively identified at this time.”
