Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton admitted Tuesday that President Joe Biden, 81, is “old,” adding that Americans must “accept the reality” of his age and vote for him to save democracy from Donald Trump.

Clinton’s attack on Joe’s age came during a radio segment with host Zerlina Maxwell.

He told Maxwell about a recent conversation he had about the president’s age.

“Someone said to me the other day… ‘Well, but, you know, Joe Biden is old.'” I said, ‘You know what? ‘Joe Biden is old.’ Let’s move on and accept reality. “Joe Biden is old,” said Clinton, 76.

“So we have a race between a candidate who is old but has done an effective job and does not threaten our democracy,” he continued. “And we have another candidate who is old, he barely makes sense when he speaks, he is dangerous and threatens our democracy.”

She was referring to former President Donald Trump, who is just a year older than her, at 77 years old.

“So, really, choose between the two old men and figure out how you’re going to save our democracy,” he added.

“Because no matter where you are on the political spectrum, what you want is to maintain freedom and the rule of law and the protection of people’s fundamental rights, or at least that’s what I thought.”

However, a recent poll found that voters are unsure how Biden’s age will affect a potential second term.

About 6 in 10 say they have little or no confidence in President Biden’s mental ability to serve effectively as president, according to a new poll by The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research.

Meanwhile, Trump fared no better than Biden.

Nearly 6 in 10 also said they lacked confidence in the mental capacity of former President Donald Trump, the 77-year-old Republican front-runner.

Clinton is notably one of the few Democrats to acknowledge the president’s old age.

Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., told DailyMail.com in February that Biden “is as ready as ever.”

Sen. Raphael Warnock, D-Ga., similarly said at the time that “the president is doing an incredible job and I look forward to making sure he is re-elected in 2024.”

Questions about the president’s age came to the national spotlight following a Justice Department report by special counsel Robert Hur in January.

Hur claimed that during the investigation into Biden’s mishandling of classified documents, it became clear that the president has a “poor memory” and “diminished faculties.”

Biden was described as “a sympathetic, well-meaning old man” who couldn’t remember when he served as vice president or even the date his own son Beau died.

However, the president immediately rejected the damning claims about Hur’s purchase, saying his “memory is fine.”
