Her father was Hank Williams Jr., famous for his hit All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight which is used for the opening of the NFL & Monday Night Football. Her grandfather was Hank Williams Sr., who is considered one of the most influential American singers of the 20th century.
Her life flashed twice before her eyes after a terrible car accident while driving with her sister Holly on March 15, 2006 outside of Memphis, Tennessee, on their mother's grandfather's funeral.

The singer broke her collarbone, back, pelvis tail bone, ribs and both her hips. Her colon tore and her right thigh broke apart.
Her sister broke her arm and her head partially went through the sliding roof during the accident.
While Hilary was being treated, she said she had been declared dead twice – but miraculously she came back to life.
The first time she was allowed to visit heaven and see her famous grandfather and other family members. She noted that they didn't talk to each other, but shared hugs. She woke up shortly thereafter.
The next time she was flatlined after she had been in the hospital for three days and she died after suffering from a blood clot during hip surgery.
She flatted twice during the treatment and said the first time she visited her famous grandfather and grandmother in heaven. She ended up in the crash while driving with her sister Holly (together upstairs)

& # 39; I had no experience then, but they said I died and came back, & # 39; she explained.
She says she survived the crash, although the odds were stacked against her because she is diabetic and has a huge amount of blood lost.
& # 39; I am just so grateful that I am here and grateful. When we got to the wreck, I only had to live for 20 minutes … I lost six liters of blood and I am also a type 1 diabetes. I have had that for 32 years and I went to ketoacidosis when I was in the hospital. My blood sugar level was 500 a week and that could easily have killed me, & she said.
& # 39; I just had so many factors against me, so I know I'm certain for a purpose and reason, & # 39; Williams added.
It took five years and 30 operations, not to mention the flattening twice, for Williams to fully recover from the accident and restart her singing career.

Willliams, who comes from a long line of singers, claims that her father never forced & # 39; the music store & # 39; to her or her sister Holly, who is also a singer.
& # 39; He just wanted us to follow our own heart and path and what makes us happy & # 39 ;, she said.
She added that despite his fame and acclaim, Williams Jr. surprisingly didn't play much music around the house.
