A mum was left baffled to discover her new PrettyLittleThing skirt was “big enough to be a sleeping bag” after it swallowed her entire body when she tried it on, leaving only her head poking out.
Naomi Lashington, from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, was thrilled when she was delivered an outfit for her upcoming holiday, but when she opened the parcel she was “flabbergasted” by the size of the item.
The 30-year-old says she continued to unfold the fashion label’s charcoal ruched hem cargo maxi skirt like a “fruit winder” before filming her reaction to trying it on.
Her pictures show the upset charity worker holding the £4 skirt in front of her to show how it stretched up to her chin.
Unable to wear it during the holidays, he joked that it would be suitable for the BFG’s wife to wear and that he could “hang it up like a curtain.”

The 30-year-old Yorkshire native couldn’t help but laugh as she modeled the new garment which also featured a gathered hem and a back slit that was “practically up my butt.”

A second clip showed her putting on the “big” skirt and hiking it up until only her neck and head were showing through the top.
She jumped back to show off what looked like a ‘sleeping bag’ before turning around to show off her sleek rear slit which Naomi said extended all the way to her bum.
The mother-of-one was hoping to wear the maxi skirt on a trip to New York a fortnight ago and said it meant the end of her shopping at PLT after a series of sizing issues.
Naomi’s videos have been viewed more than a million times, with users angered by her description and comical modeling of the strange-looking garment.
However, he apparently returned the item and received a refund.
Naomi had planned to wear her new garment for a holiday in New York a fortnight ago. She said: “It bothered me because I had the idea for my outfit and New York is like the fashion capital, so I wanted to pair it with a T-shirt.”
In addition to a sleeping bag, the mother of one suggested she could put the skirt on her son’s bed as a comforter or hang it as a curtain.
She said the skirt kept unfurling “like a fruit roller” when she was unpacking her new haul.
Naomi, who is 5’2″, said: “When I filmed the test video, that was my natural reaction because I wasn’t expecting it to reach below my chin.”
Naomi said: “He was literally the same size as me and I’m 5’2.” So whose bottom half is 5’2″?
‘I felt that excitement when they handed you an order, but when I opened it, the skirt was like a fruit roller. She kept coming and coming.
‘When I shot the test video, that was my natural reaction because I didn’t expect it to reach below my chin.
‘You can see it’s a big size on the website, but I didn’t realize it would be that big.
‘It’s a gathered skirt, so you can lift the sides up a bit, but even if I did it wouldn’t look good on me.
‘I was laughing and shocked. I just thought, “What the hell is this?” I was stunned.
‘Their size is very funny and the split was practically on my butt.
‘I could have put it on my son’s bed as a comforter.
“It bothered me because I had the idea for my outfit and New York is like the fashion capital, so I wanted to pair it with a t-shirt.
“I will never trust buying anything from PrettyLittleThing again because I have spent more time returning things and waiting for a refund than I have actually enjoying the clothes.”
The product is still on sale on the fast fashion website, where it is paired with a jumpsuit and heeled boots and is described as having a “ruched hem design” and a “maximum length,” meaning it flows down to the user’s ankles or the floor.
Naomi bought a £60 Nike skirt to wear and says she’s glad her funny videos have made people laugh.
Naomi added that she will no longer purchase from PLT after a series of issues with sizing.
She ended up returning the skirt for a refund and instead bought a £60 Nike skirt, which she is seen wearing on her getaway.
Her clips trying on the skirt have been viewed more than a million times and users are nervous about her comical description and modeling of the strange-looking garment.
The clips have accumulated more than 85,000 likes and almost 2,000 comments.
One said: ‘He crawls into it like a sleeping bag.’ I’m crying.’
