Em Davies has shared a major health update after suffering an injury that left her “paralysed”.
The 29-year-old, who is expecting her first child with fiancé Joel Gambin, first shared posts about a pinched nerve in her neck that left her barely able to move on Tuesday.
But on Wednesday night, the influencer gave a shocking update on her health issues, while posting a selfie from a hospital bed.
“Turns out I’m allergic to Panadeine Forte,” she wrote in a caption, before revealing the true extent of her reaction.
“I’m fine and so is the girl,” he clarified, before adding, “I had an intense allergic reaction to the Panadeine Forte codeine that I took today for my neck and I basically couldn’t breathe.”

‘(It was) quite scary but I’m fine now and they had an ultrasound and she’s perfectly fine too.
“This week has been a damn roller coaster,” he closed the post.
After suffering his initial neck injury, Davies revealed his condition and asked his fans for advice.
‘I pinched a nerve in my neck this morning and I feel paralyzed, I can barely move. Has anyone done this before and if so, what did you do to cure it as quickly as possible? I can’t take Nurofen because I’m pregnant. I have a heat pack and Panadol but that’s it,” she wrote in her caption.
‘I’m also flying to New York in 16 days and that worries me now. Any advice or help will be appreciated. This is brutal.’
Lying down with an ice pack on her neck, she later updated her fans saying she was seeing a physiotherapist.
The social media star shared the exciting news of her pregnancy on Instagram in February.
Davies is expecting her first child with her fiancé Joel Gambin. But the Perth influencer ran into trouble on Tuesday when a neck injury pinched her nerve and left her “paralysed”.
A beloved video captured some romantic moments she and Joel shared.
The clip begins with them kissing and then shows Joel tenderly rubbing Em’s growing baby bump before cutting to her ultrasound photo.
The lovebirds are all smiles in the beautiful images that show the enormous bond they share and their excitement about starting a family.

Em captioned the clip with some exciting words.

Em and Joel announced their engagement last March, after two years of dating.
The genetically blessed couple will celebrate their wedding on February 22, 2025.
