This is the moment heroic police rescued a woman who had fallen unconscious behind the wheel and crashed into a swimming pool.

Cobb County Police body camera footage shows the daring rescue that took place in Kennesaw, Georgia.

The officers had to break the car window to get in before dragging the unnamed woman out of the water.

She had crashed her car into a pool deck and the weight of the vehicle slowly forced the deck to lower as cold water seeped in.

The video shows a police officer sliding onto the deck before dragging the woman to safety where she was treated at the scene before being transported to the hospital.

Cobb County Police body camera footage shows the daring rescue that took place at Heritage Park Townhomes in Kennesaw, Georgia.

The unnamed woman’s car crashed and ended up on the deck of a slowly sinking pool as water seeped in.

The police had to break the car window to get in before pulling her out of the water.

Police did not share any further information about the woman in question. It is unknown if she is a resident of Heritage Park Town Homes or how her car got to the pool area.

The woman was treated at the scene while those nearby rushed to get blankets and towels to warm her before taking her to the hospital.

Upon arriving at Heritage Park Townhomes on February 22, police were greeted by residents, including a man who reported that “she raises her head from time to time,” but who was otherwise unresponsive.

After the officer whose body camera footage had been shared tapped on the window, it became clear that she was still unconscious and needed to be carried out of her Navy lounge.

Once she was brought to the side of the pool, she remained unconscious while people gathered towels and blankets to warm her.

Cobb County police did not share any further information about the woman in question.

It is unknown how the car entered the pool and ended up pointing at the pagoda, but the pool area is right in the heart of the gated community, some distance from the main public access road.

It is also unknown if the woman is a resident and how long she was unconscious before the incident.

Heritage Park is a mid-2000s condominium offering a selection of 153 two- to four-bedroom townhomes priced approximately from $300,000 to $400,000.
