Crocs has clearly outdone themselves. The so-called ugly shoe brand seen on Lindsay Lohan, Ariana Grande, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and other stylish stars is teaming up with DreamWorks on a Shrek-inspired shoe collection for the whole family.
Priced between $45 and $60, the collaboration includes classic clogs for adults, kids and toddlers featuring the beloved animated ogre’s nose and ears on a lime green foam shoe base. The outdoor footwear is finished with Shrek’s signature freckles and a brown fluffy heel strap. The collection includes collectible Jibbitz charms ($5 each) of Shrek, Princess Fiona, Donkey, Puss in Boots and Dragon.
While the kids’ sizes are available on digital shelves and at select brick-and-mortar stores, the adult Shrek clogs ($60) will only be available for purchase through a drawing, which ends Wednesday (September 13) at 9 a.m. PT. /12:00 noon ET. Only one entry is allowed per shopper and potential buyers must register (and then verify their email address) or log in to Crocs’ EQL form, a “hype commerce platform…that prevents sites from crashing, slows down scammers, and ensures a launch (that) gets products into the hands of true fans.” You will only be charged for purchase and shipping if you win the drawing. The tax will be calculated once the payment has been processed.
Don’t want to wait? Resale platform StockX already has the Crocs x Shrek clogs, which go for $109-$136.
