Helen Skelton revealed that her life changed after seeing her son watching the show that made her famous: Blue Peter.
The presenter, 41, starred in the iconic BBC children’s show from 2008 to 2013 and during her time on the show she kayaked down the Amazon River, completed the Namibia Ultramarathon and cycled to the South Pole.
And he appears to have passed the Blue Peter virus to his eight-year-old Ernie.
In a touching snap shared to the star’s Instagram Story on Sunday, Helen showed her son coloring at a large table, dressed in a dinosaur onesie with an episode of the hit show playing in the background.
In the snap, the Countryfile presenter wrote: “Life was made… watching Blue Peter.”
Helen then shared a video on her Instagram of an episode in which Anthea Turner and Gethin Jones could be seen running around covered in mud.

The cute Instagram post comes after Helen joked that she needed a nanny for herself and not her three children after embracing the fun side of life since turning 40.
The TV personality shares six-year-old daughter Ernie, Louis, and two-year-old daughter Elsie with ex-husband Richie Myler, whom she split from in April 2022 and shortly after the rugby league ace, 35, began a new romance with Stephanie Thirkill.
The former Strictly star told The Sun: ‘I think we’ve stopped counting calories, haven’t we? It’s not fun. You get to a point where you think life is too short not to have fun.’
“I always say it’s not a child who needs a babysitter, I need a babysitter to do all the boring things.”
Adding: ‘Having children is the ultimate iron man. It’s amazing, I think women need to hear that. I’ve done marathons, I’ve done ultramarathons, but the work is harder.’
In September MailOnline revealed that Richie had become a father for the second time with his new partner. The couple already shares daughter Olivia, who was born in May 2023.
Richie’s new arrival comes seven months after he finalized his divorce from ex Helen following their split two years ago.
During his time on the show, he kayaked along the Amazon River, completed the Namibia Ultramarathon and cycled to the South Pole (pictured with host Barney Harwood in 2011).

The Morning Live presenter was married to Richie for eight years before announcing on Instagram that he had “left the family home” just four months after the birth of their youngest daughter, Elsie.
But apparently following her own advice and having some time to herself, Helen announced earlier this week that she would be taking a break from Morning Live as she paid an emotional tribute to her co-stars.
The popular presenter became a permanent fixture on the show in January, alternating with Michelle Ackerley from Monday to Wednesday.
For the past few days, Helen has been hosting the daytime show alongside Rav Wilding while Gethin Jones stars in Cinderella.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday, Helen announced that this would be her last appearance on Morning Live until 2025.
She shared several snaps and videos from her time on the show, with the caption: “Lewks and lols from the last few weeks at work.” Change and departure in 2024.’

The presenter also thanked Rav for a “great” few days, adding: “Working with ladies and gentlemen who want to do a good job and know to be on time for the children’s carol concert is the best payday.” “I’m very proud of the content my colleagues are creating.”
‘We hope it helps you in some way. Don’t take anything for granted.
“For loading the cheese board and being home alone again.”
She signed the post: “We hope to have you back in 2025,” tagging both Gethin and Morning Live.
