Helen Mirren wears an all pink suit and green heels to promote action movie Fast & Furious 9 at McLaren in Beverly Hills

Helen Mirren made sure to turn heads when she promoted Fast & Furious 9 in a pretty pink suit in Beverly Hills, California on Wednesday.

The 75-year-old British actress gave an interview for the upcoming action movie while standing in the bright outfit in front of the McLaren dealership.

Showing off her impeccable style credentials, Helen also wore a green top and matching brightly colored heels.

She was wearing a necklace and earrings and had her hair pulled back and gathered with a blue shawl.

The Oscar-winning actress will play Magdalene “Queenie” Shaw in the upcoming ninth installment of the Fast & Furious franchise.

Helen previously played the character in 2017’s Fast & Furious 8 and also appeared in the 2019 spin-off Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, starring Jason Statham and Dwayne Johnson.

And this time Helen will be behind the wheel for the first time when she gets to drive a £200,000 supercar.

In the latest film, Vin Diesel fights for his family again, while John Cena makes his debut as Jakob, Dominic Toretto’s long-lost brother.

In the trailer, which came out in April, Helen sits behind the wheel of her purple supercar with her neck adorned with diamonds, giving Vin Diesel advice.

She says, “There’s nothing more powerful than family love, but when you turn that into anger, there’s nothing more dangerous.”

And speaking of the supercar, Helen said, ‘This is a match made in heaven for me.’

Meanwhile, Vin Diesel has talked about the Academy Award winner’s driving habits, saying, “She can spin that wheel. The boys have nothing against her.’

The actress then kissed him on the cheek for praising her for her driving style, according to the Mirror.

Speaking about her appearance in Fast and Furious 8, Helen revealed, “My role in F and F 8 came about because I begged for it.

“I almost got down on my knees. Not quite… But I went on my metaphorical knees to Vin [Diesel] and to everyone.

“I’ve always… I just wanted to be in one of those movies. So word went out that I wanted to be in it and they very kindly gave me a part in it. So I was very excited.’

Fast & Furious 9 was originally scheduled to be released in May 2019, but was partially delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic and was released in Hong Kong and South Korea in May.

The film is slated for a US release on June 25.

Helen won the 2007 Oscar for Best Actress and a BAFTA Film Award for her role in The Queen.

She has also received the Olivier Award for Best Actress and a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play, both for her role in The Audience.

The Fast And The Furious featuring Vin Diesel, 53, and the late Paul Walker was first released in June 2001.

Paul died in November 2013 at the age of 40 in a single-vehicle accident in Santa Clarita, California.
