Heinz launches a new sauce that puts a twist on its legendary tomato ketchup.
Smokey Bacon Tomato Ketchup is for all those who dream about bacon all day every day, so they can incorporate it into every aspect of their lives.
This follows the recent successful launch of pickle-flavoured tomato ketchup late last year.
Initially launched nationwide in Iceland, before launching in other major UK supermarkets later this month, a bottle will set you back £3.39.
The latest innovation in Heinz sauce is a variation of its beloved ketchup with Heinz Tomato Ketchup Smokey Bacon
Thiago Rapp, communications director at Heinz, said: “We all know that when it comes to ketchup, it has to be Heinz and, following the success of our pickle flavored ketchup last year, we know what we are doing when it comes to launch delicious new twists on your favorite Heinz ketchup and this one is nothing short of incredibly delicious!’
Heinz Tomato Ketchup Smokey Bacon will be available in Sainsbury’s from April 10, Morrisons from April 22, Tesco from April 29 and Asda sometime in June.
It will also be available to Heinz superfans on the company’s dedicated site. Heinz home website.
The new condiment is for all those who dream about bacon all day every day, so they can incorporate it into every aspect of their lives.
Londoners will also be able to get limited edition items at the city’s Nanny Bill’s restaurants – in Wembley, Croydon and London Bridge – for a month, until May 10, with the new sauce.
The burger chain will offer a Bacon Lover burger with special ketchup and veggie fries loaded with Bacon Lover.
Heinz Tomato Ketchup Smokey Bacon is suitable for both vegetarians and vegans.
Other recent twists on Heinz classics include Heinz Cathedral City Cheese Baked Beans and their Dutch-Style Chip Dip.
