The 36-year-old real estate mogul was joined in the episode by his husband Tarek El Moussa, with whom he produces and stars on the HGTV show The Flipping El Moussas.

Heather was one of the original Selling Sunset cast members before her time on the show came to an end after seven seasons.

“It was a blessing that they didn’t ask me to come back because I’m much happier filming my show with Tarek,” she said.

She explained, “We are co-producers of our show, so we choose the times.” With Selling Sunset, I never knew when I was going to film.”

‘It was at the last minute, it took over my life, it was difficult to do my real job: real estate. It was difficult to do anything else,’ he lamented.

And he recalled that he often returned home crying after working on the show for 12 to 14 hours a day.

‘It was crazy. They just want more and more and you saw me on the show,” Heather noted.

“I was pretty level headed most of the time. I was kind of a friend to everyone and kept things pretty calm in my life,” she said as she looked back.

She described her previous show as “very toxic.”

‘You’re surrounded by a group of women (who want) to be stars on the show, you know, number one. And they will do anything,” she revealed.

It comes after Heather took to Instagram last week to open up about the challenges of being a mother.

She gave birth to her son Tristan on January 31, 2023. She is also stepmother to her husband’s daughter Taylor, 13, and son Brayden, eight, who he shares with ex-wife Christina Hall.

Last week, the blonde beauty took to social media to express gratitude for her children and motherhood.

‘The 3 children have made me a better person in different ways. “I got my feet wet with Tay and Bray and then the sweet soul of Tristan chose me to be his mom,” she wrote in a caption for his 3.1 million followers.

He added: ‘Children have given me a different perspective on life. There is a different purpose when you become a mother, you think different, you feel different.

‘Life is more fun, but scary, I worry about things I’ve never worried about before. It’s chaotic but it’s beautiful chaos. I hardly rest, I never have days off. Some days I miss that. But the alternative is MUCH better.”
