In May, it was announced that Tarek would reunite with his ex-wife Christina to compete with their new spouses on the home remodeling competition show, The Flip Off, early next year.
But Christina’s recent split from husband Josh Hall has prompted a major shift in production.
We Weekly He now claims that The Flip Off will continue filming without Josh.
“They are producing The Flip Off without Josh. They are moving forward with the show without him,” a source told the outlet.

The move may not come as a surprise to Heather or Tarek, as Us Weekly’s source claimed that Christina and Josh’s split was not “sudden” and that they “have been having issues for a while.”
The Flip Off will air on HGTV in early 2025 with a two-hour premiere.
At the time of the original announcement, HGTV wrote of the show: “During the series, Tarek and Christina, along with Heather and Josh, will compete to see who can find, purchase, renovate and sell a home for the biggest financial gain (and a chance to brag).”

Heather has yet to publicly comment on Christina’s split or any alleged changes to The Flip Off.
But her carefree Instagram Story on Wednesday suggests she’s not worried about any behind-the-scenes drama.

The makeup-free beauty posed for a selfie with Jenna after changing into cozy robes gifted to her by Spa Montage.
“Cheers!” she wrote in a later post that showed her relaxing on a pool chair with a cocktail in hand.
Heather and Tarek tied the knot in 2021, three years after he and Christina finalized their divorce, and they share one-year-old son Tristan.
Tarek and Christina were married from 2009 to 2018 and share a daughter, Taylor Reese, 13, and a son, Brayden, eight.
They rose to fame together as co-hosts of HGTV’s Flip Or Flop, which first premiered in 2013.
Although they managed to continue hosting the show until 2022, a conflict between the divorced couple erupted into public in July 2021, when they were seen arguing heatedly on set.
At the time, sources said TMZ Tarek became angry after Christina tried to tell him and some crew members on set that it was time to resume filming. That infuriated him and he allegedly yelled that he had “cheated” on his ex-wife and called her “a loser.”
