A much-loved professional mime artist who entertained Sea World visitors for 36 years has shared his heartbreak after being suddenly fired from his job.
Lynn Frey, known as Lynn The Mime, has gained a following of his own after his long career performing to crowds visiting the Florida theme park.
But when Lynn arrived at work recently, he says a security guard scolded him for riding his bike; As he had done for many years, a disagreement occurred that ultimately cost him his job.
Lynn claims that he was not given the opportunity to tell Sea World bosses his side of the story, that he was fired without direct consolation from Sea World, and that he was denied the opportunity to perform one last time.
His plight has generated support from thousands of people online.
“It wasn’t my decision, it was theirs. And I will tell the story,” he said.

Frey told his 81.2K TikTok followers that on the fateful day, he got into an argument with a security guard over riding his bike in the park.
In May, Lynn says she parked her car in the parking lot and then took her bike to the amusement park like she would any other day.
“As I ride my bike past the security guard, I see some security ladies that I’ve seen several times over the years and they just say ‘good morning,'” he said in an online video.

After a few minutes of back and forth, Frey says the security guard ordered him to park his bike in a corner and walk.
According to the artist, the security guard went to Human Resources and reported that Frey swore at him and threw the bike at him.
But the veteran pro has refuted these allegations and claims he did not insult the guard or throw his bike.
‘I didn’t say bad words to him. “Everyone knows me and knows I wouldn’t do that,” she says.

According to the artist, the security guard went to Human Resources and allegedly said that Frey swore at him, threw his bike at him, and then went down to his dressing room to tell people that he was going to be fired.
Lynn says he went to work two more days and then received a call from his boss, an outside company employed by Sea World, informing him that he had been fired.
Not only this, but Lynn has been told that she is prohibited from entering Sea World property.
He said the human resources department never asked him to provide clarification on the matter.
‘So Sea World never let me tell my side of the story. They simply judge, they are jury and executioner… that quickly. 36 years at SeaWorld. Obviously, that doesn’t mean anything to them,” he said.

Since she was fired, the artist’s daughter has launched a GoFundMe to help support his new company, The Mime Company.
It also received widespread support from its TikTok community, with many demanding a response from Sea World.
One viewer said: ‘My dad worked for Sea World Orlando for over 25 years and rode his bike down the back road. I worked there for 3 years, always enjoyed watching you. You were always kind to everyone. I’m sorry this happened.’
Another said: ‘Maybe Sea World doesn’t realize how important you are to visitors?’
Someone else pleaded: ‘Sea World Orlando does it better!!! Hire this guy and give him a raise!
Lynn says he’s devastated, but he’s trying to look on the bright side.
“I’m sad about the way it ended, but happy but excited for a new adventure,” he said.
