The heartbroken girlfriend of an Australian man allegedly executed alongside his brother during a surfing trip in Mexico has revealed harrowing details about a voicemail he left and which she now listens to over and over again.
Callum Robinson. 33. and his brother Jake, 30, were traveling with their American friend Jack Carter Rhoad, 30, in the Baja California region when they disappeared on April 27.
The remains of the three men were found at the bottom of a well on Saturday, about 2 kilometers from Rosarito, where they planned to stay in an Airbnb.
Each had a single gunshot wound to the head.
Three Mexican citizens, Jesús Gerardo García Cota, his girlfriend Ari Gisel García Cota and his brother Christian Alejandro García, were arrested on Wednesday and charged with kidnapping.
Jake Robinson, who worked in Perth as a doctor, had flown to the United States two weeks earlier to visit Callum, who was living in San Diego with his girlfriend Emily Horwath.
On Tuesday, Horwath shared a voicemail from Callum on Instagram, with the caption: “We’ll play this over and over again.”

In another post (pictured), Ms Horwath said: “The world is a wicked place, but I won’t let that stop me from spreading the goodness you brought to this world.”
In the voicemail, Callum said: ‘Happy Tuesday, good morning! It’s 11:11 and I’m just thinking about you.
“I just wanted to send you a quick message and say, hey baby, I hope you’re having a great start to your day.”
‘Today I feel a big smile on your face for some reason. I hope you are full of positivity and smiles. Greetings darling, I miss you.’
In another post, Ms Horwath said: “The world is a wicked place, but I won’t let that stop me from spreading the goodness you brought to this world.”
Mexican police revealed that they found three abandoned and blood-spattered tents in a camp south of the city of Ensenada.
Authorities also found bullet casings at the camp where the three men were last seen and further investigation led them to the well about 2 kilometers away.

Jack Carter Rhoad (pictured) was traveling with the brothers. All three were found allegedly with a single gunshot wound to the head.
Three bodies were discovered at the bottom of the cliff well, as well as a fourth body believed to be that of a local rancher.
It took rescuers about 20 hours to remove the bodies from the well, with physical characteristics, including hair and clothing, matching those of the three missing men.
Baja California Attorney General María Andrade Ramírez said the murder investigation will investigate whether the men were killed in an alleged robbery.
He said the alleged thieves were likely interested in the men’s truck, a white Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck, and more specifically the tires.
“When they tried to seize the vehicle, the victims resisted the robbery, the robbers were armed with a firearm and apparently shot at the victims,” said Mrs. Andrade Ramírez.
Mrs. García Cota, 23 years old, supposedly had one of the mobile phones of the missing people.
Police were able to make the arrests when a phone belonging to one of the Australian brothers turned on and pinged a cell tower in the area.

Ari Gisel García Cota, 23, is one of the three suspects arrested. Apparently he is the partner of the also suspect Jesús Gerardo García Cota.
The brothers Jesús Gerardo García Cota and Cristian Alejandro García were two of the three suspects arrested. It is unclear which brother is which in their mugshots.
According to local media, the three suspects were allegedly found in possession of a variety of methamphetamines and other illegal drugs.
The alleged murders have not been related to organized crime, but investigators have not yet ruled it out.
Instagram posts shared by Callum just before the trio went missing showed them relaxing on Rosarito beach, where they had been surfing and camping while traveling along the west coast of Mexico.
The last image posted to Callum’s Instagram showed the group had arrived at San Miguel beach in Ensenada before disappearing without a trace.
A chilling image showed his white Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck on a Rosarito beach, which police believe was the same vehicle he later discovered burned.
‘…and it begins,’ Callum had captioned the image, along with a Mexican flag emoji, at the start of the trio’s doomed journey.
The Robinson brothers had attended Coachella before traveling to Mexico to surf.
Callum resided in the United States, where he was an accomplished lacrosse player known as “the Big Koala.”
His brother Jake worked in regional hospitals across Australia.
Mr. Rhoad worked in technology services in San Diego.
