The devastated fiancee of a young worker who was electrocuted while working on a roof on Christmas Eve has paid tribute to the loving father.
Aaron Greentree, 29, died while working at a property in Jet Place, in Eagle Vale, in Sydney’s southwest, about 10am on December 24.
Greentree is believed to have been working on an air conditioning unit inside the home’s roof cavity when he was electrocuted.
His partner Tiarne Leigh posted a heartbreaking tribute on Facebook on Wednesday to mourn the loss of the young father.
The couple shares two daughters, Alaska and Skylar.
“There are no words that can describe the devastation we feel and the impact his absence has on our family,” Leigh wrote.
“He will be loved and missed forever, and will live on through his children and in our memories. The best gift he gave me was our daughters and my heart will ache for the rest of my life.
“I love you Aaron, you were my heart and soul and I’m so sorry.”

It is understood Greentree was working on an air conditioning unit inside the roof cavity of the home (pictured) when the horror accident occurred.
The emotional publication caused great pain on the part of his loved ones.
“I’m so sorry for your loss Tiarne, hug those babies,” one person wrote.
‘Oh my god, my heart hurts, I’m so sorry to hear this, Tiarne! Sending you and the girls all the love in the world,’ said another.
‘I have no words! My heart breaks for you! I’m so sorry for the loss of your wonderful man!’ a third commented.
A close friend previously told Daily Telegraph The young family was struggling to come to terms with Mr Greentree’s sudden death.
“We can’t even begin to understand this…he was the best father, we are devastated for his daughters,” the friend said.
‘How do you communicate this news to them, especially at Christmas?
‘He was a beautiful young man. Rest in peace.’

Emergency services, including paramedics and fire crews, attended the scene (pictured) but despite their best efforts to resuscitate Mr Greentree, they were unable to save him.

“We received the devastating news that our heart-of-gold, ball-busting friend Aaron, while doing what he did best, helping a colleague, was involved in a fatal accident,” they wrote.
“Aaron was the life of every party, the prankster, the gentle, funny giant who was an incredible companion.”
Just over $29,000 of the $30,000 target amount has been raised.
Emergency services, including paramedics and firefighters, responded to the home on Tuesday, but Greentree could not be saved.
NSW Police set up a crime scene at the property after the incident.
Several of Mr Greentree’s friends also visited the site.
The doting father recently became engaged to Ms Leigh and celebrated his 29th birthday in November.
Forensic officers spent hours removing roof tiles to access the space under the roof in an effort to recover Mr Greentree’s body.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
