An Australian influencer has revealed that her one-year-old daughter has been in a coma in hospital for more than 100 hours.
Allanah Harris and her husband Brock are popular The Harris Family TikTok page that documents the lives of her four children for more than a million followers.
Allanah and Brock share one-year-old daughter Daisy, as well as James, seven, Chase, three, and Ellie, two.
Daisy lives with tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC), a rare genetic disease that causes non-cancerous tumors to grow in the brain and other vital organs.
Since Daisy was six months old, she had been suffering from multiple seizures every day and in June the couple discovered the cause was multiple sclerosis.
On Sunday, Allanah shared a heartbreaking update on Instagram about her baby, revealing that he had been in a coma for more than 100 hours and doctors were trying to find the cause.
Allanah shared two photos, one of her hand comforting Daisy’s bandaged arm and a portrait of her daughter.
“Daisy was a bright and cheerful little girl who recently took an unfortunate turn and has now been put into what appears to be a comatose state for over 100 hours,” Allanah revealed in the lengthy post.

“Unfortunately, there are no medications or stimulants that are safe for Daisy to wake up with. Daisy has been exposed to countless needles and blood tests while she is “asleep” and doesn’t even blink.”
Allanah explained that Daisy, who also suffers from focal cortical dysplasia, epilepsy, infantile spasms and encephalopathy, was first diagnosed with TSC in June last year, the same day her first child, Lily, who was stillborn, died in 2020.
He added that the reasons behind Daisy’s current comatose state remain a mystery.
Allanah Harris, who runs the popular social media account The Harris Family, shared a photo of her hand comforting Daisy’s bandaged arm and provided a heartbreaking update on her baby.
“But beyond that, doctors are still struggling to understand why Daisy decides to completely shut down unresponsive and go into a comatose state,” Allanah wrote.
‘All the medical evidence so far shows that Daisy should be awake and well, with the exception of course of her severe developmental delays, but sadly that is not the case.
‘Investigations are ongoing and information about Daisy has been quickly passed on to other hospitals not only in AUS but in other counties to help find answers.’
TO GoFundMe It was created by Brock and Daisy’s grandmother, Karen, to help cover the cost of Daisy’s ongoing treatment and has raised over $22,000.
“Daisy was a bright and cheerful little girl who recently took an unfortunate turn and has now been put into what appears to be a comatose state for over 100 hours,” Allanah revealed in the lengthy post.
Concluding her heartbreaking post, Allanah urged her followers to donate to the campaign.
“Daisy has been unresponsive for over 100 hours and we have no idea when she will decide to wake up on her own. It could be tomorrow, but it could also be in six weeks, but that’s something she will only be able to do when she is ready,” she said.
Even after Daisy decides to wake up, we’ll still have the long journey of trying to figure out what’s causing this level of sleepiness and slow brain activity.
