Delta Goodrem has revealed the moving story behind a photograph of her that has remained hidden for two decades.

Hodgkin lymphoma is a type of cancer that affects the lymphatic system. Some of its common symptoms include swelling of the lymph nodes in the neck, armpits or groin, fever, tiredness, night sweats, weight loss and tiredness.
The devastating news meant that his plans to perform and promote the album on a global stage had to be put on hold while he focused on his health.
Twenty years later, Delta is preparing for a triumphant return to the spotlight, with a long-awaited tour to celebrate their journey and their music.

The tour will kick off with an intimate performance at the Sydney Opera House on April 14, 2025, with an additional show announced for April 15 due to overwhelming demand.
To commemorate this milestone, Delta has shared this never-before-seen photograph from her archives – a candid moment captured during what she describes as one of the most challenging moments of her life.
“Mistaken Identity was an album that was born from raw emotion,” he said. The daily telegraph.
‘It reflected the shadows and the light of my battle with cancer. “Each topic was deeply personal and was my way of connecting with other people who were also going through their own struggles.”
The album, released in November 2004, became a lifeline for both fans and Delta, resonating with listeners for its unwavering honesty.
“Looking back, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for how people embraced the album during that time,” she shared. “It taught me the incredible power of music to unite us in our vulnerabilities.”

The singer, who rose to fame in her teens as Australia’s sweetheart, recently announced her new record label which she shares with her fiancé Matt Copley (Both pictured).
‘It’s a new era, a new world, with endless possibilities, so I created a new home for my music. Welcome to ATLED Records,” Delta wrote in his post, with “ATLED” being his name spelled backwards.
‘I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude towards the incredible community that has supported me for over two decades. But times have changed and so have I.
Delta said it was important to her to have “ownership” of her music.
“Owning my music in an industry that is constantly evolving is an incredible feeling and fuels my art and business projects,” he said.
