Heartbreaking moment when the mother of twin girls, three, who died in a house fire, put them to rest

A mother of twin girls who died in a tragic house fire recited Sarah McLachlan’s Arms of An Angel when her daughters pink double chest was lowered into the ground.

Aisha and Lailani, three, were buried on Friday morning at the Tumut Lawn Cemetery in the Snowy Mountains.

The identical twins’ young lives were tragically cut short when their Batlow house caught fire on May 18 while their mother Tanyka Ford, 29, and brother Dominick, five, were locked up outside.

Their sorrow-stricken mother grabbed peonies as she sang, her voice creaked with emotion, while her daughters were buried.

“They brought so much love into the world, two beautiful, adventurous little girls; it was mum and daddy’s angels spoiled little brats, “celebrity Chris Longhurst told mourners, The Daily Telegraph reports.

“You grew as a family and an extended family, this is a heartbreaking time in your life.”

Lovers who gathered to say goodbye wore pink splashes in honor of the sisters’ favorite color.

The girls’ uncle, Wayne Dubois, said he could never understand the event that had cruelly snatched them away.

“I can never understand … you were my world, your smile, so sweet and tender, your life was so short, now all you have left are black and white memories, my little ones, you will never understand how much you meant, may you shine between the brightest stars, “he said.

The girls’ 28-year-old father, Geoffrey Dubois, told his daughters that they were the light of his life and had no idea how much he would miss them.

“My life will never be the same without you again, you will be the best angels God has ever received, I will miss you so much,” he said in a eulogy that the celebrant read.

Eric Clapton’s tears in heaven played when mourners paid their last respect and released pink balloons with the word princess in the air.

Dominick burst into tears as he sprinkled petals over his sisters’ lowered coffin as family members gathered to provide comfort.

An investigation revealed that the girls had removed a protective grate from the fireplace and had lit slightly to highly flammable material in the family home.

The girls had bolted the front door when Ford stepped out to throw away a pillow set on fire by a fireplace in the front room.

She screamed, trying to enter the house, but the cruelty of the fire had shot the entrances.

Emergency services arrived and eventually entered the house, but it was too late to save Aisha and Lailani.

The sisters, who reportedly died from smoke inhalation, were found unconscious and hand in hand in the front room.

It is believed that the fire was started by a wood fire and by the time firefighters arrived and pushed their way in, it was too late to save the girls
