This is the shocking moment when a BMW narrowly avoids a head-on collision after recklessly overtaking two cars on a busy road.

The incident happened on the A94 outside the village of Balbeggie in Perth and Kinross on Tuesday and was captured on dashcam.

Textile worker James White filmed the incident on his dashcam when he was passed.

Mr. White, 56, honked as the BMW passed him on the wrong side of the road as cars were coming towards him on the other lane.

The dramatic images show how close the BMW was to causing a major incident.

One of the oncoming drivers flashes his headlights at the driver, while another has to move to the side of the road to avoid a collision.

A rear dash cam shows the dangerous driver overtaking the car behind Mr. White, also in an attempt to get in front.

Last year, a man was pronounced dead on the spot after being hit by a car on the A94. The road was also closed after a two-car collision between Scone and Balbeggie in 2019.

Mr White from Perth posted the clip to Facebook the next day [WED], write: ‘Someone has not bought a BMW for a long time, the driver is going to kill someone soon.

“Trying to make a head-on crash.”

Scotland police told MailOnline they have no records of the incident, but are urging anyone with information to contact them.
