Heartbreaking new footage shows the moment a giant wave swept an aspiring actress off a rock into the sea in Thailand.
Tourist Kamilla Belyatskaya, 24, was on her yoga mat when she was overcome by the force of the rough seas.
Grainy videos showed the Russian woman being thrown from her favorite rock, a beautiful spot on the island of Koh Samui, just two weeks before her planned wedding.
She was also seen struggling and beaten in the foaming sea of the Gulf of Thailand, but drowned before she could be saved.
His body washed ashore two-thirds of a mile from where he was lost.
Kamilla had previously posted about how special this place was to her, calling it “home” and “the best place in the world.”
Her grieving fiancé Grigorii Anokhin was quoted as saying the couple were due to marry in Russia in mid-December.
“On the day of the accident, my girlfriend said she was going to play tennis, but I didn’t know that she had stopped by to relax at the Lad Koh viewpoint,” he said.
‘I only found out what had happened through social media. I was devastated and immediately went to the area to help search for her.’
Tourists gathered at the site and watched helplessly as Kamilla Belyatskaya was carried away by the sea.
A woman is seen reaching out as the waves crash around Kamilla, with no one nearby able to help her.

The images show the moment Kamilla is dragged away, with people appearing at the scene.
The couple had been together for five years and planned to get married in Russia this month.
“We had already taken photos before the wedding in the hope of living together when we returned to Russia,” she said.
A foreigner reportedly waded into the waves to try to save her, without success. His fate is unknown.
Police issued a strong warning to tourists about breaking waves and strong currents after their tragic loss.
New images of the tragedy have since emerged showing tourists gathered in the area and watching helplessly as Kamilla was swept away by the waves.

“I love Samui very much,” he says in the tragic video. ‘But this place, this rocky beach is the best thing I have ever seen in my life.
‘Thank you, universe, for being here right now. I am very happy. I’m happy!’
She had gone to the Lad Ko lookout to watch the waves and was seen arriving nearby in a red car before apparently going alone to the rocks.
She took out a pink foam mat from the trunk of her car before walking towards the beautiful spot that offers panoramic views of the island.
The mat was later seen floating in the rough seas off Koh Samui, one of Thailand’s most popular islands.
She was seen sitting on her yoga mat as the waves grew stronger.

Kamilla Belyatskaya, an amateur actress, had traveled to the Thai location to exercise.
Kamila had been sitting on the rocks, apparently meditating, as the waters became more violent.
Rescuers were hampered by rough seas and, although they arrived only 15 minutes after the boat was swept out to sea, they were unable to do anything to save the tourist.
Her boyfriend, along with eyewitnesses, gave statements to local police about the tragedy.
“The incident serves as a stark reminder of the dangers posed by monsoon conditions, with authorities urging visitors to exercise caution and avoid rocky coastal areas during periods of high waves,” according to a Thai report.
Thailand is increasingly popular with Russian tourists, including men seeking to avoid being forced into Vladimir Putin’s war against Ukraine.
Some 1.48 million visited Thailand last year.
The images showed a figure in the water as strong waves crashed overhead.
Chaiyaporn Subprasert, head of the Samui Rescue Centre, said warning systems were in place on all beaches on the island.
‘During the monsoon season, we constantly warn tourists, especially in high-risk areas such as Chaweng and Lamai beaches, where red flags indicate no swimming.
“While the location of the incident is not a swimming area but rather a landscape vantage point, the unexpected surge may have taken the victim by surprise.”
