A Watford fan left Vicarage Road flattered but slightly bruised on Saturday after defender Adam Masina hit her with a ball by giving her his shirt after the FA Cup clash of Hornets with Tranmere.
The left back hit the supporter after shooting a ball in the crowd during the warm-up for the third round.
He felt so bad that after a dramatic 90-minute action, he still reminded him to find the female fan after the last whistle.
