"In 2010, I never imagined that I would have helped mom lose more than three million kilos and that she would have my own book," said Mrs. Allen.

"When I started my business in 2010, it was always about doing something worthwhile, it was about doing something good, not making money.

Ms. Allen was inspired to create Healthy Mummy while she was pregnant, as she was frustrated to discover that there was not a national or holistic support system to help women recover after giving birth.

She investigated the possibility of creating a safe and healthy plan before leaving her job, selling her house and investing every dollar she had in the idea.

"In 2010, I never imagined that I would have helped Mom lose more than three million kilos and that I would have my own book," Allen said.

"I made a business plan with the client, which was ALWAYS the number one, AWLAYS is my number one concern and my job was to help moms," he said (pictured with a Healthy Mummy customer)

But it was not without careful planning.

"I made a plan about what the client needed and where I felt I could create a unique service, support and product offering that helped moms achieve health and weight loss after having children," she said.

& # 39;[I only quit] Once I had a clear idea in my head of what I should deliver to the client and how I could help the mothers and what I needed to start building. "

That, he said, has been the key to his success.

"You have to look at what people want, then create it for them, instead of dreaming about something and expecting people to love it," he said.

Speaking to FEMAIL, Ms. Allen said it is crucial that aspiring entrepreneurs decide on their goals before "abandoning the boat" of their corporate roles.

"It's important to have a solid plan in place, since starting a business is expensive and it can be a long time before you make money," he said.

Calculate how much you will need to launch your idea and your business and count the approximate costs of the website configuration costs, inventory, intellectual property costs, business administrative configuration costs, any necessary creative design and launch marketing costs & # 39;

"I work hard every day and I never stop working". I work hard and work hard for the client and always have the client in mind with everything I do, "he said.

Once the cost has been established, Ms. Allen urges people to quit only once the money has been earned.

"That way you can build your business in the background and do all the work behind the scenes (which can take months and months) while you still have a salary," he said.

The advice of Rhian Allen to escape from a corporate job and launch a business

Make a decision

• Decide which job you are passionate about and ONLY do this. It does not make sense to start a business that you do not LOVE, since you will need to spend almost all the waking moments, so make sure it is something that really matters to you.

• Decide what your goals are: is it about earning a lot of money (if yes, how much is defined), or having more time with your family, or having less stress in life, or doing something else? significant in life.

• Once you have decided on your objectives, you can begin to develop a plan, financially and logistically.

Plan for success

Once you have decided your objectives before leaving your corporate role, it is important to have a solid plan, since starting a business is expensive and it may take a long time before you earn money.

Follow the correct steps

• Calculate how much you will need to launch your idea and your business. For example, count the approximate costs of website configuration costs, inventory, intellectual property costs, business administrator configuration costs, any necessary creative design, and launch marketing costs.

• When you have an idea of how much you need to set up your business, do not give up your work until you have earned that money! In this way, you can build your business in the background and do all the work behind the scenes (which can take months and months) while you still have a salary.

• Make a basic business plan. Plan who your target audience is, why your product will resonate with them, the price you are going to sell, how you will sell your product, how you will structure your customer service and how you plan to build your business in a 12-month period of 24 months.

• Get a basic understanding of the profits and losses of your business and tax regulations; This will help you enormously as your business grows.

• Spend as much time as you can to learn about marketing, because without this, no matter how well you do everything else, you will not have a business for long.
