The woman whose severely decomposed body was found wrapped in plastic and dumped near a stream near Sydney Airport has been identified.
Police were called to Sir Joseph Banks Park on Foreshore Road, in Botany, at 7.30am on Monday after a local noticed something suspicious in some nearby bushes.
New South Wales Police have identified the woman as Zhuojun ‘Sally’ Li, 33, who was reported missing after her mother was unable to locate her.
Police are still searching for Ms Li’s husband, Jai-Bao ‘Rex’ Chen, also 33.
Mr Chen is described as being of Asian appearance, between 165cm and 170cm tall, with a slim build, black hair and brown eyes.
Police also released CCTV footage of a silver Toyota Avensis after the vehicle was stopped on the north side of Foreshore Road on November 30.
The vehicle was captured on CCTV just days before Ms Li’s body was found.
Investigators have urged anyone with information about the vehicle or the driver of the car to contact police.

Police have released CCTV footage of a silver Toyota Avensis (pictured) after the vehicle stopped on the north side of Foreshore Road on November 30.
The woman whose badly decomposed body was found wrapped in plastic and dumped near a stream near Sydney Airport has been identified as Zhuojun ‘Sally’ Li (pictured left).
It comes after Homicide Squad commander Danny Doherty said the woman’s body may have lain there for “weeks, if not months” and was in a “severe” state of decomposition.
“At this stage the theory would be that the person stopped and disposed of the body just beside the road,” Detective Superintendent Doherty said.
‘The victim was just a few meters from the side of the road… a busy road. It is still unknown how long the body has been there.
‘This is a very tragic situation. A woman lost her life and was left lying on the side of the road. There is a loved one who still doesn’t know that their loved one has not only been murdered, but was probably murdered.’
Several items, including a pair of high heels, were found at the scene on Monday.
The video also captured a pair of discarded boots, which may or may not have been part of the crime scene.
Investigators have yet to determine how long Ms. Li’s body remained in the area due to the decomposition of the remains.
