Hayden Panettiere shared on Wednesday that she will be releasing a new memoir titled Scream And Break Free: Addiction, Trauma, and How the Cheerleader Saved Herself.
The 34-year-old star revealed She will cover her battle with alcoholism and addiction in the book.
She added that it was “both daunting and exciting” to share her heartbreaking story.
She said People will provide “an unprecedented view of [her] historic life and acclaimed career.’
The Scream actress added: “You can laugh a little, cry a little, but the most important thing is that, hopefully, you’ll come away feeling inspired.” I have grown a lot thanks to my experiences.”
Grand Central Publishing will release Scream And Break Free in early 2026.

The child actress first rose to fame when she worked on One Life To Live from 1994 to 1997.
At age 15, he began abusing drugs and alcohol, he shared. That was just the beginning of his fight.

In late 2014, the Remember the Titans star battled postpartum depression while welcoming her daughter, Kaya, with her ex, Wladimir Klitschko.
When he entered rehab in 2015, he said it was his idea: “I was the one who got me into the first treatment center. I was drowning.’
Upon turning 30, the familiar name found itself in another 12-step program, where participants are encouraged to embrace a life of total abstinence from all mind-altering substances, including alcohol.
In 2022, he spoke publicly about his struggles for the first time: “I thought I hit rock bottom, but then there’s that trap door that opens.”
“I was on top of the world and I blew it,” he admitted.
And despite her ups and downs, Hayden is still grateful for her journey.

“I don’t regret even the ugliest things that have happened to me. I feel incredibly fulfilled. And I feel like I have a second chance,” he concluded.
Earlier this year, she said her “traumatizing” stories from Nashville mirrored her real-life sobriety and custody battles, leading her to feel like she was “performing her own life.”
She played Juliette Barnes on the show from 2012 to 2018 and claimed that “from the beginning” her stories were strikingly similar to her own life.
The star told The Messenger: “From the beginning it was like, I’m dating a football player, Juliette is dating a football player.”

Panettiere’s return to the screen was overshadowed by the death of his brother Jansen, 28, in New York City on February 19, 2023.
The actor died from aortic valve complications stemming from an enlarged heart, but despite her pain, the actress remains committed to recovery.
“A big part of my therapy has been living in forgiveness,” he said. ‘One step in the 12-step program is making peace.
“If someone wants to be a good person and be the best version of themselves, they can choose to do that.”
