When asked who gave them ‘the most magical food moment’ of the all-star season, there seemed to be a definite favorite.

Former 2012 winner Andy Allen immediately praised Reynold Poernomo: “Reynold’s sweet dishes came to mind.”

He described the 26-year-old’s whipped chocolate ganache with coffee ice cream and lemon jam as “almost flawless.”

Andy also said that an honorable mention was needed for Emelia Jackson’s Paris-Brest petit four.

Fellow judge Melissa Leong said she had experienced many magical food moments this season and congratulated each finalist on a dish she liked.

However, Reynold came to mind when she first praised his dish, the rabbit hole fairytale dish.

“Each was perfect in its own way and does not stand alone in what these talented people can do,” she added diplomatically.

Judge Jock Zonfrillo did not reveal his favorite dish, but instead said, “I really believe each of the top four is capable of winning. We’ve tasted one of the best dishes the MasterChef kitchen has ever seen. ‘
