Just in time for the spooky season, Haunted house starts streaming on October 4.
The family-friendly horror film, Disney’s second live-action adaptation of the hit theme park attraction, premieres online on Disney+ and stars AhsokaRosario Dawson as Gabbie, who moves to a “strangely affordable” mansion in New Orleans with her son Travis (Chase W. Dillon).
When the home’s troubled residents reveal themselves, Gabbie hires an astrophysicist turned tour guide (LaKeith Stanfield), a psychic (Tiffany Haddish), a priest (Owen Wilson), and a historian (Danny DeVito) to help them get out of their house to float. But if the “dream team” doesn’t solve the mystery of the parsonage, they will be “stuck here for eternity.” Hasan Minhaj, Jamie Lee Curtis and Jared Leto round out the cast of humans and ghosts.
