A man has reportedly been caught with $2,000 worth of stolen meat and seafood in his car.
Victoria police caught the alleged Cheltenham meat thief in Cairnlea, Melbourne, on Sunday.
The catch included salmon, prawns, lamb chops, racks of lamb and Coles roast beef, Nine news reports.

Officers questioned the man in connection with the suspected stolen goods.
Police said the meat was later returned to Coles.
The man is expected to be charged on subpoena, which means he will have to appear in court.
