Has Margot Robbie gone under the knife? Inside Barbie star’s glamorous transformation from baby-faced soap actor to Oscars siren

She has been hailed as one of Hollywood’s most beautiful women.

And Margot Robbie, 33, certainly held onto her title when she hit the Oscars red carpet in Los Angeles on Sunday.

Once a little-known soap star, the Australian actress looked right at home among other A-list beauties as she posed in a vintage Versace dress.

But a look back at her formative years shows how Margot has undergone a very glamorous transformation since her days playing Donna Freedman on Neighbours.

Margot once had a baby face, but her face has become more shaped and defined over the years.

This has led fans to question whether the blonde has simply lost weight or has secretly undergone cosmetic surgery to sharpen her features.

Although Margot has never spoken about undergoing any cosmetic work, this hasn’t stopped fans from weighing in.

In 2022, cosmetic procedure influencer Dana Omari Harrell speculated that Margot had undergone a dramatic makeover prior to filming the Barbie movie.

This included an upper blepharoplasty, a surgical operation that can correct drooping eyelids and make the eyes appear larger by removing extra fat in the area.

Dana doubled down on her belief in a July 2023 Instagram post, also adding that Margot may have had fillers under her eyes, a small brow lift, cheek augmentation, lip fillers and a rhinoplasty to thin the tip of her nose and reduce the width of her nostrils.

Dana claimed that Margot may also have had buccal fat removed, a procedure used to hollow out the cheeks and therefore enhance cheekbones, as well as filler added to her chin to give her jawline extra length.

To top it off, Dana speculated that Margot uses minimal Botox to smooth out her fine lines while still giving the actress enough movement in her face.

In February 2020, a leading cosmetic clinic revealed that Margot’s face was the most requested when women came for non-surgical procedures.

The Private Clinic in London found the Australian actress’ look to be the most sought after after surveying their clients, with Margot receiving 18 per cent of their public votes.

Talking to Get the shinesaid a spokesman for The Private Clinic that people requesting Margot’s look when they come to visit represents a turning of the tide in what women want.

‘The highest-ranking female celebrities tended to favor natural beauty (and) showcase glowing skin and radiant faces rather than overly dramatic or enhanced looks,’ they said.
