Harry Styles is understood to be single after amicably ending his relationship with actress Taylor Russell following a fateful trip to Japan.
The couple, who started dating 14 months ago, were last seen cycling together during an appearance in the capital Tokyo in April.
Weeks later Russell, 29, appeared at the Met Gala in New York without Styles, who remained on the other side of the Atlantic in London.
Friends have since claimed that the couple chose to end the relationship amicably after spending time together in the Far East.
A source said Sun: ‘Harry and Taylor have ended their relationship. They went through a rough patch after their trip to Japan and are taking some time apart.

The reported split comes after a ‘smitten’ Styles was said to be ready to start a family with the Canadian actress.
Speaking in March, a source told MailOnline: “Harry feels like he’s already lived ten lives, but one thing’s for sure: his 30s will be nothing like his 20s.”

Last June, the singer and actress were seen together for the first time leaving a museum in London, and at one point they also allegedly held hands, according to TMZ.

Russell, 29, appeared at the Met Gala in New York in May without Styles, who remained across the Atlantic in London.
Styles was spotted in London’s Soho on May 18, weeks after his reported split from the Canadian actress.
Styles in particular was promoting Don’t Worry Darling, while Russell was celebrating the premiere of Bones And All.
The Grammy winner previously dated Olivia Wilde from January 2021 until their split the following year in November 2022.
At the time of the breakup, a source told People, “He’s still on tour and is going overseas now.” She is concentrating on her children and her job in Los Angeles. It’s a very amicable decision,” and she added that “they are still very close friends.”

Styles’ mother, Anne Twist, who is believed to have remained close to Flack in the years that followed, shared a heartfelt poem on social media in the wake of his sudden death.
