Harry Potter actress Afshan Azad reveals she’s pregnant with first child as she debuts baby bump in festive snaps with husband Nabil

Harry Potter actress Afshan Azad has revealed that she is expecting her first child with husband, Nabil Kazi.

The 32-year-old movie star, who played Ravenclaw student Padma Patil in five of the hit movies, took to Instagram on Sunday to share the news with her followers.

She also took the opportunity to debut her growing baby bump, donning an elegant gray dress as she posed next to her doting husband.

Captioning the images, she wrote: ‘The secrets for everyone – I’m going to be a mummy !!! Thank Allah SWT for bestowing our greatest blessing yet

‘Baby Kazi is coming inshAllah in July. Our hearts are both filled with love, excitement and nerves! Before long, please keep all of us in your prayers. ‘

On Monday, she followed up with a snapshot of herself posing solo in the same flowing dress, as she thanked fans for their support.

She wrote: ‘Thank you all for your kind comments and good wishes. We were so overwhelmed with everyone’s positivity and love yesterday. Baby Kazi is already so loved. ‘

The expectant mother concluded, ‘Ps are preparing for a big photo dump in the next days / weeks. Sorry not sorry. ‘

She also took to Twitter to express her gratitude after sharing the news on the microblogging platform at the same time.

Afshan wrote: ‘Thank you to everyone for their well wishes and kind words. What a relief to tell you all the good news.

‘Pregnancy is such a rollercoaster of emotions, but now I can finally enjoy the remaining weeks with my baby belly. Feel all the love today. Thank you.’
