Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were spotted stepping out for a sushi date – just a week after he returned to California after King Charles’ coronation to attend Archie’s fourth birthday party.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex smiled ear to ear as they left the Michelin-starred restaurant Sushi Bar Montecito in Santa Barbara.
Meghan, 41, stepped out wearing a brown long-sleeved dress, with matching peep-toe sandals and a slicked-back low ponytail.
The mother-of-two dressed up her outfit with a white bucket bag and gold hoop earrings.
Harry, 38, followed his wife Meghan to the car around 7 p.m., dressed in a casual outfit of white jeans and a casual black t-shirt.

The prince, who flew back to the UK to attend his father’s coronation last weekend, teamed his monochromatic outfit with sand-coloured shoes.
After dining at the one-star Michelin restaurant, Meghan and Harry reportedly turned the corner and drove off in an SUV, which was waiting for the couple outside the Montecito Inn on Coast Village Road.
According to its website, Sushi Bar Montecito is: “Chef Phillip Frankland Lee’s Omakase restaurant serving up a fantasy of his namesake 17-course fare.
“Behind the door is an intimate counter with 10 popular seats where you can sit down to the chef’s cutting boards.
“Relax and enjoy as the chefs cook up a playful daydream about new wave nigiri and other land and sea delights in a loose take on the traditional sushi counter experience where you can sit back and relax. expect unexpected riffs on beloved standards.”
The sushi restaurant will set you back $165 per person if you eat from their omakase menu — and diners must pay a $25 deposit to secure a reservation.
And the restaurant has created an intimate dining experience for its clientele – with a single mini-counter seating only ten people “to ensure a deeply personalized experience”.
“Your time here is meant to pass in a blissful haze of friendly chatter,” reads the Michelin guide.

This time last week, Meghan Markle was spotted hiking without husband Prince Harry near their $14million Montecito mansion – hours after missing King Charles’ coronation.
The Duchess of Sussex was joined on the outdoor outing by her friends, Markus Anderson and Heather Dorak, in California on Sunday after celebrating her son Archie’s birthday on Saturday.
It comes after it emerged the King raised a glass to toast Prince Harry’s son Archie’s fourth birthday at Buckingham Palace in a touching tribute to the grandson he barely saw.
Despite the lingering acrimony with Harry, who was on a plane to the United States hours after his father’s coronation, an emotional Charles made a point of mentioning his absent grandchildren as well as those present on his big day.
The poignant moment came during a private family gathering at the palace after his coronation at Westminster Abbey and his appearance on the balcony with Queen Camilla.
It is understood that an invitation had been politely extended for Harry to join the family lunch, but he decided to return to California to celebrate Archie’s big day.
Meghan, 41, was dressed in an all-black athletic ensemble, as well as a khaki jacket, which she tied around her waist during the outdoor excursion.
The mother-of-two also wore a beige wide-brimmed hat, a pink scarf and large sunglasses for the hike.
It was the first time she had been seen in public since her stepfather’s coronation last Saturday.
Meghan was conspicuously absent from royal festivities in the UK last weekend, as she stayed in the US to celebrate her son Archie’s ‘low-key’ birthday at their home in Montecito.
Harry, who rushed to California, did not appear to attend the hike.
