America’s enthusiasm for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex has come under pressure following their string of bombshell interviews, with a royal pundit claiming the couple “lacked decorum.”
While 38-year-old Prince Harry and Megan Markle mark three years this month since they started their new lives in California, journalist Kinsey Schofield said the pair were now “disapproved of by Hollywood.”
Speak against Fox News digitalthe royal correspondent opined: “I do think that Harry and Meghan expected more support from Hollywood than they have received recently.”
Recent months have seen the release of the Netflix docuseries and Spare, the memoir of the Duke of Sussex.
She continued, “I think Harry and Meghan had a great chance to elevate themselves and actually be Hollywood royalty, but their decorum makes people think twice about the association”

Prior to publication, Harry had a favorable rating of +38, according to a Dec. 5 poll of 2,000 American voters.
That fell to -7 on Jan. 16, pollsters Redfield & Wilton found — while Meghan Markle dropped to -13, compared to +23 on Dec. 5.
The Hollywood industry’s lack of welcome was further compounded by the inclusion of the Sussex in the satirical cartoon South Park.
Last month, an episode aired depicting the “Prince and Princess of Canada” — a young royal couple loudly begging for privacy as they draw attention to themselves.
The red-haired prince and his wife, who don the exact same dusty pink outfit that Meghan wore for Trooping the Color in 2018, are promoting the prince’s book – Waaagh – whose cover closely resembles Harry’s memoir Spare.
The episode is filled with swipes at the Sussexes, with main character Stan calling their cartoon equivalents the “stupid prince and his stupid wife,” while Kyle complains about the private jet parked outside their house.
Kinsey Schofield told GB News: ‘What they’re saying is, these two are not sincere people, they say they want their privacy as they go to every television show, write books, do six hours of Netflix.
“They broke it off and said… they’re not very likeable… people are tired of them.”
TV presenter Nick Ede, who claimed to have had a friendship with the Duchess of Sussex, 41, before meeting Harry, claimed the couple didn’t realize they wouldn’t be accepted as ‘Hollywood royalty’ when they moved to California.
Speaking to express.co.uk, he said: “They’re pretty far down that pecking order, and I think that’s been a problem with them, in the sense of stepping down.
“I think the point is that you forget that royalty in Hollywood isn’t a titled person.
It’s JLo, it’s Sharon Sone, it’s Beyoncé, it’s the Kardashians. That’s their royalty.’
