The recovering ice-addict Harriet Wran brought in a $ 1,605 million home just a few months after he went to court for drug possession.
Wran, the 31-year-old daughter of the former New South Wales prime minister, Neville Wran, was seen by the newly purchased Newtown property, in the heart of Sydney, after an auction on Saturday.
Real estate agent McGrath has bid on behalf of Wran on the double-sided detached house, while the property was purchased via Urbane Property, The Australian reported.
The wooden lined, 259m² cottage consists of three bedrooms, a bathroom and a fireplace.

Wran & # 39; s real estate purchase comes months after she was taken to court.
In March, the police pulled Wran at a gas station on the Central Coast, according to police facts submitted to the court.
A male passenger fled when the police approached Wran & # 39; s car with letters and envelopes that fell to the ground.
They were addressed to countless people from Sydney to the Central Coast, and when Wran greeted officers, they saw unprotected syringes leaping out of the front pocket of her sweater.
The police found credit cards in the names of others, luggage and electronic items, including laptops, with Wran giving inconsistent answers about who they owned, reporting the facts.
When the officers showed her two resealable bags that they had found with a white crystal substance, she said: "Great, now I am certainly arrested, right?"
Wran pleaded guilty in April to possession of drugs, goods in custody and not showing P plates.
In a letter to the court, Wran said she had relapsed a few months before the crimes and was & hopelessly stuck in daily addiction, constantly used to alleviate the pain and dying of taking away that terrible medicine & # 39 ;.
& # 39; As a direct consequence of the drugs and my desperate craving for them, I kept the wrong company and ended up in dark situations, one of them was the night of my arrest, & # 39; she wrote.

She was fined $ 550 for the drug and P-plate offenses and received a 12-month community correction for the property on the crime scene.
The terms of her Community Correction Warrant include that she refrains from drugs unless prescribed and participates in any treatment specified by a Community Correction Officer.
Only in 2016 was she released from prison after serving two years for her role in a robbery, leading to the murder of drug dealer Daniel McNulty in August 2014.
Wran was with her ex-boyfriend Michael Lee and his friend Lloyd Haines when they spontaneously robbed Mr. McNulty in his flat in the Sydney residential area.
A fight broke out and 37-year-old Lee stabbed McNulty to death.
Lee was sentenced to at least 13 years for the & # 39; meaningless & # 39; stabbing murder.
Haines, 31, who knew that Lee had a knife but did not think he would use it, was imprisoned for at least 11 years.
Wran was arrested after a sleepless six-day ice float.
She said she thought the men would only rob McNulty, not kill him.
She was given a maximum period of four years to be an accessory to the murder in August 2014, theft in company and afterwards to accommodate her murderer boyfriend.
